No, we do not offer military discounts
Area rugs and all other products ship through the manufacturer unless it’s listed under our “Shop From Home” page. Those products ship from our warehouse.
All our stores carry the same inventory but stock/availability might differ from stores to store. Please contact a Carpet Exchange store for details on specific product availability.
Yes, free samples are available to order online for products listed on this page: https://carpetexchange.com/store-pickup.html Simply select the "Order Sample" button and fill out the form provided to receive your sample.
We guarantee we’ll beat any competitor’s price quote by a full 10% on all flooring products.

We will credit your account upon verification of the product being returned in new and saleable condition. Credits may take up to 15 days after being delivered.
We offer a 30 day in-home trial for area rugs. You can return any area rug purchased online within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price. Buyer must pay for return shipping to the manufacturer. Shipping costs vary and will depend on the weight and size of rug. Please email [email protected] to start the return process.

Unfortunately, no. Carpet Exchange only offers installation for any products directly purchased at one of our Colorado Carpet Exchange stores.
Typical installation can take anywhere from 1 day-3 weeks to be scheduled. The time frame varies depending on the material and inventory in stock. To find more information about the installation time frame for a specific product, please contact your local Carpet Exchange store.

We do not offer carpet stretching.
It’s not required, but it is highly recommended to get accurate measurements
Per Square Foot pricing is based on the area of a flat surface. Length x Width = sq. ft. Most of our carpets have a 12 foot width so you can calculate the length x 12 ft to find the sq ft needed.

10 Hard Surface FAQs

We have a wide selection of tile available including backsplash tile, ceramic tile, marble tile, cement tile, porcelain tile, travertine tile, natural stone and more.
Tile cannot currently be purchase on our website, but we cn have an order placed in person or over the phone. Please contact a Carpet Exchange store for details on pricing and orders.
We carry a wide selection of hardwood crafted from various species such as ash, walnut, oak, hickory, maple, and more.
Luxury vinyl flooring has 4 layers: a wear layer that provides protection against scratches, a luxury layer that provides the visual appearance, a coret layer that provides the durability and a backing layering that provides a waterproof barrier.
Luxury vinyl comes in the form of tiles, planks or sheets.
Yes, luxury vinyl plank and luxury vinyl tile are 100% waterproof making it perfect for any room in your home.
Installation is easy with luxury vinyl. It can be installed using a floating or locking method and doesn't require glue or staples.
Luxury vinyl is highly durable with most warranties ranging from 10-20 years. They are great for rooms with heavy traffic and typically have a wear layer that is scratch, stain and dent resistant.
It does not usually need an underlayment. If needed, many products come with an attached underlayment.

7 COREtec FAQs

Always pre-vacuum or dust mop before any type of wet cleaning. Do not use vacuums with rotating beater bars on hard surfaces. Stay away from steam mops, as the heat can cause the vinyl layer to curl up and peel off. Avoid using mop and shine products. For a more thorough clean, you'll want a ph neutral cleaner, so nothing with a floor polish or detergent in it.
These planks and tiles can be installed in any room of your home, including the basement, top floors or even walls.

12 AREA RUGS FAQs

No, all area rugs bought online must be shipped back to the manufacturer.
Orders that have not been shipped are eligible for cancellation. Please email [email protected] with your name and order number.
The Luxe Hold Rug Pad can be used on both hard surfaces and carpet, has a reversible construction and a 20 year warranty. The Comfort Grip Rug Pad is intended for use on hard surface floors and it has a 10 year warranty.
We carry two options for rug pads: The Luxe Hold and the Comfort Grip. They are available in a variety of sizes and can be cut to the size of your rug for the perfect fit. We recommend a rug pad to provide additional cushion and protect the flooring beneath the rug from wear. Rug pads make your rug safer by give your rug additional traction that prevents slipping.
