I worked with Wendy and she was a big help, very knowledgeable about the products. Understood what my preferences were and was quick to show me samples. I have some allergies so she was also careful to work around those. Her communication was excellent. Gave me names and phone numbers of the measurement techs and we set up dates for the separate measurements to be done for carpet and Core-Tec. Once measurements were done she sent me quotes and we set up times for installation. Both installation companies were excellent. Very considerate of my property and jobs were done very quickly, and cleanup was great! I am very pleased with my choices of flooring and happy that I went with Carpet Exchange!

The whole buying and installation experience was outstanding. Installers, Martin and Peter, did an amazing job. They kept us informed throughout the installation, cleaned up at the end of the day, asked us to examine the work and told us what to look for and how to care for our new floor. We had a small issue in that we could not fully open the dishwasher door. Peter fixed it immediately. Super pleased.

We've used Carpet Exchange for years and have always had a great experience. Their customer service really stood out recently when the carpet we purchased in February 2026 had to be rescheduled three separate times because of an uncooperative tenant-once at the very last minute. Managers Kim and Frankie were so gracious. When the installation was finally completed in July, it was well worth the wait. Manny, the installer, did an outstanding job. His workmanship was excellent, and the finished result looks fantastic. We highly recommend going with the Karastan Pet Guard carpet underlayment pad: Our tenant completely destroyed brand new carpeting in only two years; the replacement carpet we installed over the same pad looks amazingly luxurious even though it was not an expensive carpet choice.

We had an excellent experience with Carpet Exchange from start to finish. Purchasing new flooring is a big investment, and while our first flooring choice looked different once it was installed than we expected, Carpet Exchange truly stood behind their customer satisfaction guarantee.
After living with the first installation, I realized the color wasn't the right fit for our home. I was understandably disappointed, but CE handled the situation professionally, respectfully, and without making me feel like I was being difficult. They discussed options with me and ultimately filed a customer satisfaction guarantee on our behalf to get the floors redone.
I also had very high expectations for the installation itself. I wanted a seamless, transition-free floor throughout, and the installer exceeded those expectations. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in the finished product were outstanding. The installation was efficient, meticulous, and the final result is exactly what I had envisioned.
Throughout the entire process, the CE employee I primarily worked with, Jonathan, was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and committed to making sure I was completely satisfied.

Getting new carpet on our stairs, landing and upstairs bedrooms was a project I dreaded. We live in a small, older. mountain condo that has architectural and space challenges. From the very first visit to Carpet Exchange in Golden, CO, I was put at ease ......all due to the expert experience of the store mgr., Todd Faulkner. He guided us through every step from carpet selection to ordering and installation. Above all, he assured us that this was a project that they could handle with no problem; even moving heavy furniture and beds from room to room. Todd provided exceptional communication during the project; always getting back with answers to my questions. He even came out and measured when the scheduled "guy" was unable to come because of an emergency. Todd went above and beyond to offer his help and expertise. We were VERY PLEASED with the installers! They were skilled and attentive to details; a curved wall and 16 wooden spindles to lay carpet around and wrap steps; a LOT OF WORK AND A JOB WELL-DONE. Although I had great service at the start, after I purchased the carpet, the salesperson wasn't quite as friendly as she had been at the beginning. I asked her about $50 difference from the first quote to the second for the exact same carpet and same amount but she just said, 'I'm not perfect, I must of made a mistake' which I understand but then I thought she would have fixed it but no. But I do love the carpet and the installers were just terrific!!

We had an excellent experience with sales (Karen M) and the installation crew led by Val. I looked at all tile stores including the big box retailers and could not find anything I wanted in my kitchen. CE was my last stop as I did not realize that other flooring types could be found at the store. Karen helped me make some choices and after dealing with samples for a few days we settled on a couple of options, we asked for large piece of tile and it was sent to us. We had a winner a few weeks later and order placed. The installation crew was ontime every day and they took care to cover floors and tape of kitchen area to minimize dust. It was much quicker then anticipated and spectacular when done.

The delivery guy showed up alone and with no way to really move the carpet, so we had to help offload the laminate and make sure the carpet wasn't damaged from being dragged across asphalt. Carpet Exchange is phenomenal! They recently did a beautiful job replacing the carpet in our master bedroom and its walk-in closet, an office, two other bedrooms, a large family room and hallway, and the stairs going down. They did the installation in one day. The crew was friendly, fast and efficient. When I pointed out that the bi-fold accordion doors in the office closet had a problem and flopped around, they fixed it!
That was in sharp contrast to our experience with Empire Today. We had a contract with Empire, but received a telephone call about 10 AM the day before their scheduled installation that the carpet we ordered would not be available for several more weeks, and we had already dismantled our house! We cancelled the Empire contract and immediately went to Carpet Exchange. They got the job done quickly even though they had to get the carpet in from out of state. The Carpet Exchange cost was significantly less even though Empire had advertised a very large discount.

The experience on this project led me to the perception that the sales, project management and sub-contractors were not able to achieve doing it right the first time which requires a better understanding of the customer situation as well as the potential problem due to the change in the thinner thickness of the carpet. When we reported the deficiencies on the installation to the sales and asked for correction, the response was so unprofessional that my wife was very upset. However, I am very pleased that the store manager was able to understand when he was notified, and responded professionally and courtiously.
